Dr. Pamela PutmanMeet Dr. Putman

Dr. Pamela Putman was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She and her husband, Len, fell in love with the mountains and the people of Western North Carolina. She moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina also to be closer to family.

Dr. Pamela Putman has been in the dental field since 1987. She earned her dental hygiene degree in Miami in 1991. She practiced as a dental hygienist for almost ten years. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2004. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. She continued on to open her own dental practice in 2005 in Boca Raton, Florida.

She continually takes above and beyond the required continuing education courses required for licensure. She has trained with nationally, well recognized clinicians that are leaders in the field of advanced dentistry. In 2011, she achieved the Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry. This achievement is accomplished by only 3% of the general dentists nationwide. Dentistry is her passion. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society and Florida Dental Association. Dr. Putman is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Her hobbies consist of hiking, gardening, reading, golfing and cooking. She also enjoys the many festivals and music venues in and around Asheville.

Dr. Putman routinely does general and cosmetic dentistry. She does root canals, extractions, implants, veneers, dentures, invisalign, teeth whitening and many more dental procedures. She has training in full mouth restorations for very worn or short looking teeth.
